Integrated Fitness & Sports Institute (IFSI) provides courses and certification for individuals aspiring to be Personal Fitness Trainers. It is founded in 2015 by Mr. Nikhil Ashtewale, a two times national powerlifting champion. With its HQ in Mumbai, IFSI alumni are working all across India as Fitness Trainers, Group Exercise Instructors, Sports Coaches, Yoga Instructors and Nutrition Counselors.

The fitness community in India is largely unorganized. IFSI is among the very few trusted institutions that offer certifications for gym trainers and sport instructors. Due to the pandemic, people became more conscious about their health and fitness. As a result, this industry is set to grow multifold on the back of supportive government policies.
The Rise of Digi-FITNESS
During the Covid-19 Pandemic, all fitness institutions were forced to close. As a result the entire industry had to pivot to a fully-digital model.
