Client Background

It’s quite common for working professionals relocate to metro cities like Mumbai & Bangalore. For them, popular online food delivery apps didn’t offer region-authentic homemade food. Our client identified this gap- online delivery of homemade food by authentic homechefs.

Ghar Ki Yaad is an online homemade food delivery business that provides regional home-cooked meals to customers across Mumbai.

Industry Overview

The online food delivery industry in India has faced several challenges, including logistical issues, competition from traditional food delivery methods such as dabbawalas, and regulatory hurdles. Despite these challenges, the industry has continued to grow and expand, with more and more people turning to online platforms for their food delivery needs.

The Ask

With such a unique idea, the client came to us hoping to increase the organic search presence of www.gharkiyaad.in so that the website could reach more people in Mumbai.

1 Increase visibility across search engines for brand awareness.

2 Drive Traffic via most relevant searches.

The Challenges

Ghar Ki Yaad was in its nascent stages with
no prior online presence.

The website was dynamic in nature and data kept changing every now and then.

The keyword such as homemade food delivery was highly competitive.

A challenge like no other- ‘Ghar Ki Yaad’ is also a poem in the CBSE Board syllabus. So, previously if you searched for ‘Ghar Ki Yaad’, only NCERT websites about the poem ranked on the first page of Google.
